In my opinion, blogging is the act of sharing and
receiving a little part of a person's life in the online community. Blogging is
not only related to redacting, reading other people's work is also part of the
experience. There are at least 10 blogs with different features that adapt
to the reader's preferences, my favorites are Tumblr and Wordpress. The most
famous blogs I know are centered on a certain topic, for example restaurants
reviews, movies reviews, technology innovations, art history, etc. Most of
personal blogs centered in a single person life don't become famous, with
obvious exceptions, like that guy from Reddit that thought his landlord
was breaking in and leaving post it notes for him. Turns out he had fucking CO
poisoning and was leaving the notes himself. That's crazy, some redditor saved
his life by suggesting it. People may think that there are other ways of
sharing one's experiences, opinions, etc., but the truth is that internet is
the perfect place for doing it anonymously.
